President
I’m a senior this year (crazy, huh?). I’m currently Team Captain for Fossil’s Speech and Debate team and I compete in Science Bowl, which is objectively better than Science Olympiad. I also work at the Montgomery Lab at CSU. I enjoy reading, listening to music, philosophical discussions, and Spikeball. I’m trying to develop a sense of pride in Fossil’s academic community this year, because I truly believe that we have the potential to make big changes not only at school but in the world around us as well.
Jenna Long

Hi! My name is Jenna and I’m a Junior this year! At Fossil, I play tennis and compete in Science Olympiad, which is objectively better than Science bowl. In my free time, I like to read, travel with my family, or play the piano. I really enjoy being part of Fossil’s science community! My goal this year is to unite more of the science community at Fossil so we can continue to grow and create larger and greater things.

Hi! I am Niyati Kuntumalla and I’m a senior. I’m a part of Science Olympiad, FCCLA, and Model UN at Fossil. I love to travel and hang out with friends and family in my free time. I enjoy spending time outside and am passionate about the environment. My goal for this year is to provide members with more opportunities to create a positive science community.

Hi! I'm Audrey and I am a senior this year. I'm a part of Science Olympiad here at Fossil. I also play on the FRHS softball team. I love to travel, read, and hang out with friends and families. I love being in the science community. My goal for this year is to create a positive environment offering more opportunities for students to get involved and help others within the scientific community.

Hi! I'm Om. I'm currently a senior and really excited to be on the board this year. I enjoy swimming, chess, and boxing in my free time as well as playing the piano and coding. I've done Science Olympiad and Science Bowl in the past, and I love being in and around Fossil's science community. I'm looking forward to making positive strides in our community through service fueled by a passion for science.
Amber Thorland

Hi! I am Amber and I am a Junior this year at Fossil. I am the communications officer and my goal this year is to bring the community together and share my love for science. In my free time I love to be outside, hang out with friends, and play basketball. I have two brothers and three dogs. A fun fact about me is that my dream vacation is to go to Thailand.
Keira Leistikow

Hi! My name is Keira Leistikow. I am a senior at Fossil Ridge High School this year. I have been a participant in Science Olympiad for six years, going on my seventh, and I play as a libero for Rocky Elite Volleyball Club. In my free time, I enjoy reading and listening to music. My main areas of interest in science are biology, chemistry, and aerospace engineering. As the secretary of the SNHS board this year, I am looking to ignite an increased passion for science in our members and provide opportunities for them to assist the community.
Jennifer Bekken
Jenny Bekken is an Earth Systems Science and CP Biology teacher at Fossil Ridge High School. This is her fifteenth year teaching at Fossil. She has an undergraduate degree in neuroscience and a masters in education. She sponsors SNHS because she cares a great deal about teenagers and the journey they are on--a journey to explore and better understand their wonderful selves and the fascinating world around them. In her free time, she reads, watches sports, and hangs out with her 2 boys.
